For sale is a beautiful 1973 VW Super Beetle Convertible w/ new paint in VW Marathon Blue metallic. The bug is completely restored (frame off) w/ new upholstery and rebuilt engine w/ new piston/cylinder set. It is the original 1600cc carburetor engine w/ 50 hp. For smooth and maintenance-free driving fun I installed an electronic ignition from Pertronix.
The floor pans are replaced w/ good quality aftermarket parts, not the cheap thin metal replacements, and the whole floor section and axles are painted. New brake lines, disc brakes in the front, and brake pads in the rear ensure it stops when it has to. All new Polyurethane bushings in front and back are installed as well. Electric is all original, but checked during reassembly, and everything works, even the horn and fuel gauge. Currently, there is no stereo installed. I leave that up to the new owner to decide.
