Vehicle Description
1954 Hudson Hornet. Owned this car over a year and finally decided
to list it. This is a rare car that was designed in the 50's for a
race car. They come with a straight 6 with dual Twin H ower carbs
that runs great. When I got it I put plugs, wires, battery, rebuilt
the carbs, points, electric fuel pump, water pump, and etc and the
car runs great. Only shows 87,297 on the odometer and has a Dual
Range Hydramatic Automatic Tranny that shifts good. The brakes work
and the wheel cylinders were replaced a couple of years ago. I just
painted the rims and mounted new Coker Whitewalls all the way
around and all the hubcaps and beauty rings are still there. The
bumpers and grill are nice. The body is straight down both sides
and only has a little rust in the lower rockers. I have two new
complete rockers and the original color to spray them so it will
match. You dont need to replace the whole thing just patch the spot
and move on, the drivers side is not bad at all just little bitty
spots, and the lower doors are not rusted threw, I was going to fix
everything when I did the rocker patches but never got around to
it. All the glass is good including the windsheild but the
passenger front and rear door glass has a small crack in the corner
not bad at all and the drivers rear little triangle window has a
small crack, I wasnt going to replace them because its not very
noticeable. The interior is original and old but I replaced the
carpet and put indian blankets over the original seats for now.
Overall for being a 67 year old car this is a very nice car that
nobodys ever cut on its all original and in great shape and cranks
right up and idles good. This would make someone a great car to
drive around and enjoy. These are rare cars due to there history
and most of them were changed up in the past but this one stayed
original tucked away in a collectors garage for many years.HAVE A
