Vehicle Description
This real-deal 1969 Pontiac GTO has been customized over every inch
to be an awesome and fresh restomod. So look over all the details,
including the slick paint, full custom interior, flame-kissed
accents, oversite transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, and
fuel-injected 455ci V8. Soon you'll realize this is the big power
machine that knows how to leave a lasting impression.
You know this one is a mean machine the moment it comes into view.
They borrowed a Mopar favorite for the paint, Viper Red, and the
full restoration has barely 400 miles on it. So it's fresh and
vibrant. And while this is a custom machine, you also get all your
classic GTO favorites, like the Endura front end, dual hood scoops,
large dual exhaust tips, and a full-width rear spoiler fit for The
Judge. And you'll love the detail work all around - from the way
the panels fit to the expertly deleted key locks. There's also a
terrifically coordinated dark side with the blackout front end
(w/grilles over the headlights), deeply tinted windows, blackout
tail lights, and full custom black trim. And those Budnik 18-inch
alloys look absolutely awesome in the darkness while also giving
you a peek at the red brake calipers within.
A restomod is all about giving you the best in modern features, and
so this interior has been upgraded in all the best ways. It starts
with a terrific set of Recaro bucket seats up front. They give you
a ton more modern bolstering than the factory ever did. Plus, they
are done in supple ultraleather, and they are finished in a special
red trimming (including the stitching) that gives this a
thoughtfully custom look. In fact, there's custom red accenting and
stitching on the rear seats, center console, A-pillars, and door
panels for a stylish uniform presentation. This has all the best
modern luxuries, including power windows, power locks, cup holders,
LED lighting, and cold-blowing air conditioning. The radio is an
AM/FM/CD/DVD/XM infotainment touchscreen that includes Bluetooth,
and there's a full Rockford Fosgate stereo speaker system,
including subwoofer in the custom trunk. We love how the sports
Budnik steering wheel coordinates with the exterior alloys. And
it's mounted on a tilt column so you can get a clear view to the
Dakota digital gauges that glow red to go with the rest of the
interior accenting. And the start button glows red, too, so you can
easily see how to awaken this beast.
The engine bay may just win you awards all on its own. The
ultra-tidy inner walls are done in a smooth red, and your eyes are
instantly drawn to the hydro-dipped flames of the pulleys and
bracket. In the middle is a fresh and powerful heart. This is a 455
cubic-inch V8 enhanced with an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, MSD
distributor, shining fabricated valve covers, and Dougs headers
feeding a powerful dual exhaust. The full package is topped with a
FiTech electronic fuel injection system for the best in power and
consistency. This also has the right supporting components like a
March serpentine belt system, newer belts/wire/hoses, and a Griffin
aluminum radiator w/dual electric fans. As you look underneath the
car, you'll realize this is the kind you put a mirror under at the
shows. After all, you not only have a fresh style, but also
hydro-dipped flames on the oil pan and rear diff. And while you're
looking down there, you'll also spot an upgraded front suspension,
adjustable coilovers, and a strong Moser 9-inch rear end. Plus,
with power steering, four-wheel power disc brakes, and a stout but
smooth four-speed automatic transmission, this is a powerful muscle
car that's easy to enjoy any time.
