Vehicle Description
Crown Concepts is happy to welcome this one of a kind 1969 Plymouth
Road Runner. A fun fact about this car is that Plymouth had to pay
$50,000 to Warner Brothers to use the Road Runner Name. It is also
said that Plymouth paid $10,000 to develop the "beep, beep" horn.
All of this money invested into a car that would become the 1969
Motor Trend Car of the Year.
This beautiful 1969 Road Runner has a 383ci V-8 under the hood that
will let everyone know that you mean business. The performance cam
adds a little bit of thump to the exhaust note and some character
to the car. The 4 speed transmission is smooth and with the Hurst
shifter you will be able to get a good grip because you will need
it when you get into the throttle. If you need a little bit of heat
in the tires this Road Runner is equipped with a line lock.
When you look at the interior you will find a great classic muscle
car looking dash and black leather bench seat. The new Dakota
digital dash will catch your eye as you look forward from the
driver's seat. The bright white background of the gauges make it
easy to read during the day and the red backlight give you that
sport look at night. The one thing that you can't forget is when
you are about to hit the gas you need to press down on the horn
twice fast. You will be able to let everyone hear the "beep, beep"
before you fly off down the road.
Overall this is a one of a kind Road Runner that strikes the
perfect balance between muscle car and show car. Once you drive
this car once you will want to drive it everyday. Please call us
