1964 1/2 Ford Mustang Coupe. A nicely restored example of a 1st year, D code Mustang which included a 289 V8 engine with a 4 barrel carburetor according to its birth certificate and production documents.
Restored approximately 10 years ago in it’s original colors of white on red The car was a part of the Waterford car collection until purchased by its previous owner several years ago. During its restoration it received full professional paint and body work as well as new chrome bumpers front and rear, Mechanical refurbishment, new carpets and headliner, etc.
It’s nicely detailed engine bay shows the level of restoration as well as the limited use since the restoration was completed.
When reassembled the largely original interior was reinstalled and remains in very good condition. Most recently it has had a rebuilt transmission and as seen in the undercarriage photos below many of the suspension bushings, shock absorbers, exhaust system etc. have been replaced. A very nice running example of a largely original, unmolested, first year mustang. The car runs and drives well with no current needs or issues.
