Corsa Red over Beige interior
$47,380 in added options
At the Geneva Motor Show in 2006, Ferrari prepared a car that was
going to replace the previous 575 Maranello. Under the direction of
Jason Castriota, and the styling done by Pininfarina, the Ferrari
599 GTB debuted and feature optimized aerodynamics with distinct
sail panels flanking the rear window, directing and maximizing air
flow to a linear rear Nolder. Armed with a 651 horsepower V12, rear
wheel drive, a 6-speed sequential manual transmission and with a
top speed of 205 miles an hour, it was one of the fastest Grand
Tourers car available to purchase in 2007. Being Ferrari's flagship
model in 2007, the car's performance and thus list price was not
surprising, often surpassing the $300k mark brand new and
delivered.
This 2007 599 GTB was originally ordered at Ferrari of Atlanta, in
Georgia. It was bought by the first owner who added multiple
options, totaling $327,675. The additional options added to the
Ferrari include, red brake calipers, carbon ceramic brake system,
carbon fiber pieces for the interior, parking sensors front and
rear, upgraded 20' wheels, full electric Recaro seats, and the Bose
hifi stereo system. This total in options alone are $47,380, making
it a highly optioned 599 GTB.
The first owner purchased the car in July 7, 2007. He owned the car
for the next 10 years. During his ownership, it was driven less
than 1,000 miles. The original owner, did regular servicing at
Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta. In 2018 the original owner decided to
sell the car, and it was purchased by the second owner out of the
same dealership where it was serviced.
The Ferrari has been with the second owner since then, who had a
paint correction and a protection film installed in the hood,
fenders, mirrors, bumpers, rockers, and door edges. This was
finished with a ceramic coating on the entire car, as well as the
wheels, totaling over just $5,000. The second owner has also
maintained and service the Ferrari at Ferrari Maserati North
Scottsdale in AZ. With multiple service records, it shows the
meticulous care that the Ferrari has seen over the past 14
years.
The 599 GTB was inspected from front to back when it arrived at
Canepa, and it was deemed to be an excellent example. In excellent
mechanical order and cosmetically needing just a light cleaning,
the Corsa red paint was in stunning condition. With the sorted
Ferrari 599 GTB now ready for its new owner, this car represents a
fantastic opportunity for a future owner.
