This Corvette was sold new at Hicks Chevrolet, Inc. in Washington, D.C. and the original purchaser was Winthrop and Dorothy Matzen from College Park, Maryland.

The option total was $1203.50 and the total sale price was a $5592.25.

The car has a very thorough owners history and one of the previous owners did a no expense spared frame off concourse restoration back to original specs. All of the original components and parts were used in the restoration. The car even has the original Knock off wheels and they have been restored as well. The body was taken off the frame. The frame was powder coated and all new and rebuilt components were assembled. The complete drivetrain was also rebuilt back to factory specs. The number matching L-72 engine was rebuilt with the correct cam. The car has original Carburetor, distributor, etc. All numbers are shown in the photos below. The car even has the off road exhaust that has an amazing sound. The paint and body was expertly refinished to show standards. The car was an original body with no damage prior to the restoration. The Corvette runs very strong and shifts smoothly. The car is very tight and has great road manners. This stingray is an absolute blast to drive.
