From 1983 through 1996 Chevrolet built the 4th generation or C-4
Corvette. It was a clean break from the Duntov designed C-3. This
all new car was sleek and edgy and it was what the consumer wanted.
However, keep in mind the time with the government and all the
safety regulations, fuel economy and technology was growing at a
much faster rate than the car companies to keep up so there was a
lot of trying to mate old with new, analog with digital and the
list goes on. Corvette did its best to keep its head in the sports
car game and once the ZR-1 came out it was game on. That car in
1990 started breaking all sorts of records and is still considered
a fast car even in todays standards. This particular stunner
finished in Admiral Blue over a nice gray interior has spent its
entire life in Michigan having been driven sparingly in the summer
months only. Averaging just under 2,000 miles a year, this car
shows under 50,000 miles from new. The paint is in good condition
with expected wear and tear for a 26 year old car. This unit comes
with a clean carfax, decent tires a aftermarket exhaust that sounds
great and overall a really decent car. These cars will continue to
now rise in value as others follow suit. These C-4s really had the
quirks worked out and the nice power toward the end of the run. It
starts nicely, shifts well, brakes good and goes down the road very
quickly.
