Vehicle Description
In perfect timing for the arrival of spring, here is a really
stunning presenting Rolls-Royce Corniche II convertible finished in
Magnolia with biscuit/honey tan Connolly hides. The twin fine lines
to the waist-rails are hand-painted in matching tan. This is a
multiple award, show-winning car. This Corniche II is very well
known to us having been fully maintained by us by an owner who
would request everything and anything be done without sparing
expense. Every service is completely up to date. Having been
meticulously maintained by Park-Ward, it truly needs absolutely
nothing. Some $10,000 was spent at its last major service to
include mechanical, electrical and some cosmetic items. Nothing was
over-looked, ignored or deferred. I reiterate, mechanically and
operationally, this car needs nothing - guaranteed. Under the
bonnet, the presentation is very clean. It has not been precision
detailed but simply kept clean and tidy throughout its life. The
body of the car is straight and the paint deep in lustre and
consistency. It barely shows any signs of wear at all with any
minor little that can only be seen if you look hard. It is very
shiny without any fading, dents or dings. Rubbers, mouldings,
badges and external fittings are all in excellent condition. The
interior of this car is stunning. The Connolly leather shows
beautifully. The wood throughout is also excellent showing only
some very minor marks on the driver side door capping. Otherwise it
can be comfortably described as excellent showing almost no lacquer
cracks, chips or marks. Carpets, seats, dash and front top-roll are
truly excellent and I best encourage you to look at all the photos
to fully appreciate how nicely the interior presents. The car also
had an up-market current technology Pioneer stereo system fitted.
The convertible top is brand new as of about 3 years ago and as
such presents perfectly. The rear "window" is perfectly clear with
no blemishes or sun fading. As part of Park-Ward's maintenance
program, all electricals and features & functions have been
inspected so everything is operating as it should; windows, seats,
mirrors, A/C, heater, lights, wipers, etc. Right down to every
light bulb in the dash. This is a true, "take the keys and drive"
example with no additional budget needed to attend to any nuances
or gremlins. Being a well-maintained example. It is tight to drive,
brakes strong and rides as a Corniche II should. This being a 1989
car represents amongst the best for the series with all engineering
upgrades but also just before the introduction of air-bags. When
describing a car for sale, one should be very careful to use terms
like "perfect" and "flawless" because nothing but a brand new car
can be described this way. That said, this Corniche comes very
close to for its age, is of a very high standard and is an easy 10
out of 10 driver rating. She is simply stunning.
