1928 Ford Model A Sedan drag car. It has a vintage all steel body
with a rat rod look and custom chassis built by Tim's Chassis
Works, Tampa Bay, FL. I purchased the car from the original
owner/driver, worked for Big Daddy Don Garlit's race team for many
years. The car was originally heavy gold metal flake. The engine
was built by highly respected engine builder. It has a Dart block,
496 cubic inches, it has Canfield heads, Crowller shaft rockers,
comp cam, Eagle H beam rods and a 1090 demon carb. All ignition
components are MSD. I have a dyno sheet for the motor. It has 822
hp at 6900 rpm and 645 foot lbs of torque. The car has a 2 speed
power glide, trans brake, line lock and a 2 step, electronic
solenoid shift. The bob weight is approx 2200 lbs. It has a current
chassis certification for 8.5 seconds in the 1/4 mile. One of the
best 1/8 mile times is 5.80 seconds @121.11 mph. One of the best
1/4 mile times is 9.38 seconds @ 140.51 mph. Car is turnkey,
trouble free and easy to drive. The car has a 1/4 mile gear set up
in it now. I have a spare 3rd member gear set up complete for the
1/8 mile that goes with it. Also have a new, spare 2 speed power
