This 1982 Chevrolet K10 4x4 is a great way to get your hands on a
short bed 4x4 classic that also has a ton of versatility to fit
into your everyday life.
A short bed Silverado with a lifted stance really gives this truck
an attractive and squared silhouette. The copper paint is a nice
color for a 1980s machine, but when you take it out in the
sunlight, there is a distinctive metallic glow that suggests an
update later in life. Chrome bumpers, premium Silverado trim, and
Rally wheel complete an attractive package. This all looks good,
but nothing is ever going to feel too fancy that you won't ever
hesitate to put it to work. In fact, if you like to tow the toys,
then you probably got excited checking out the pics. This has a
proper tow hitch on the back and a trailer brake control in the
cab. And yes, that's a gooseneck ball under the flap in the bed.
Not only can you haul more with this, but the dual fuel tanks means
you also get to go farther, too.
Inside is a highly original-style presentation that includes a
vinyl bench, door panels, and full carpeting in shades of tan that
go well with the exterior copper. There is room for improvement
here, and the value price on this 4x4 means it'll leave room in
your budget for any of the wide array of easy personal upgrades
available to these popular Silverados. And what we really like is
that this already comes with the right fundamentals. The steering
wheel is on a tilt column, there's an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and
this is a factory air conditioning truck (it will need servicing to
blow cold again.)
Under the hood is the 305 cubic V8. These small blocks are love
upgrades. This one even currently has an Edelbrock four-barrel
carburetor and Edelbrock Performer intake to let the V8 inhale
deeper. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case, lifted stance, and Wild
Country MTX tires give you a true go-anywhere machine. Plus, the
automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front
discs make this one easy to enjoy on the road, too.
Complete with owner's manual, you're getting a lot of added ability
wrapped around an attractive vintage package. Since it's all
offered at a gone-tomorrow price, you need to call today!
