Car History
We have here at Adventure Classics, a stunning 1967 Marinna Blue
Chevelle, completely restored from the ground up restoration, from
a 29k Malibu with the added SS trim, moldings, dash, emblems,
gauges, and hood, with a Corvette LS3 engine added to power a
tribute muscle car dreams are made of.
Engine & Drivetrain
Peek under the hood and you will be in for a big surprise as it now
has a Corvette LS3 engine. Upon its release, the LS3 proved to be
one of the most advanced performance engines ever produced by
General Motors.
It uses a cast-aluminum block with six-bolt, cross-bolted main
caps, high-strength, flat-top aluminum-alloy pistons, high-flow
cylinder heads, Z06-spec, high-flow fuel injectors, and a revised
hydraulic roller camshaft.
All things considered, the LS3 produces over 425 horsepower and 424
lb.-ft. of torque. Ours is backed by an Automatic overdrive
transmission, Power steering, Power brakes, and also has custom
blue painted fuel rail covers, Vintage Air & Heat, and a Flowmaster
dual exhaust system.
Interior
Inside, the full aqua presentation completes the almost stock look
with the correct super sport attitude of bucket seats, a center
console, and floor-mounted automatic chrome stick shifter, full SS
gauge package, air, matching door panels and rear seat, as well as
aqua carpet and floor mats.
The Chevelle has the wide dash finished in brightwork, SS steering
wheel, nice AM/FM/ stereo , and Super Sport dash console trim.
Exterior
The paint job on this Chevelle is the kind that draws attention and
makes other car owners jealous. It is a shiny Marina Blue that
conveys performance and classic lines without ever saying a
word.
The gloss looks super and is contrasted by the brightwork, vented
SS power bulge hood, chrome bumpers, plenty of Super Sport badging,
nice glass, and custom chrome 5-spoke mag wheels with Uniroyal
Tiger Paw performance tires.
