Superformance MKIII Cobra 427 Roadster SP02873 is painted a beautiful solid Dark Silver. Finished with all chrome trim on headlights, roadster bumpers, turn signals, roll bar, and even the nickel-plated brass Windscreen frame.

On the inside SP02873 has period correct Smiths Gauges with a Lucas Ammeter Gauge in the period correct street dash layout. The doors are secure by original style carriage style latches. All openings, such as engine bay, trunk, and cockpit are wrapped around steel subframe for increased strength and support. Dashes are wrapped in leather as are the steel framed seats which offer period correct webbing for comfort and aesthetics.

All Superformance MKIII's feature a high performance aluminum radiator with twin electric fans that are thermostatically controlled. Also on this MKIII is a period correct oil cooler with shroud and fittings. All Superformance MKIII's come standard with Limited Slip Differentials and Power Disc 4 Piston Wilwood Brakes.

SP02873 was completed with a Roush Performance 427SR crate engine. This engine is based upon a Dart Block 351 Windsor and punched out to 427 Cubic Inches and makes 515HP. It is paired with a Tremec 5 Speed TKO transmission. This pairing is the most popular and sought after for the Superformance MKIII.

Brand new 18" Black Out Shelby Pin Drive Wheels with 275 series front tires and 335 R compound rear tires give this Roadster a much more aggressive stance. As always the period correct 15" wheels are also available.
