Vehicle Description
1932 Ford Pickup
In 1932 the Model B Ford was introduced as a replacement to the
very successful Model A. Although they shared a similar platform
and a lot of similar styling, 1932 brought a wider range of body
styles and different trim levels. These 1932s Fords are a staple in
the classic car world and have continued to be popular even after
89 years since the introduction. It is hard to believe in just 11
more years the one of the most popular classics to own will be
celebrating its centennial anniversary! The 1932 Ford Pickup you
see here is a very nicely built truck that was restored originally
in New York. In 2015 it was brought to Texas and has remained in
Texas ever since. It is all original steel throughout including the
fenders. All steel vehicles always hold a little more value and it
isn't uncommon to find out a steel body car now has fiberglass
fenders. Well that isn't the case here. This thing is all original
Henry Ford still including the body, fenders, headlight buckets,
bed, everything. The body is painted in Black paint which is nicely
accented by the original Yellow wire wheels. The wheels are 18 inch
with Ford center caps and good condition tires. It has a nice
chrome front bumper and the headlight rings have a nice shine as
well. The bed on the truck is really nicely done in wood with
matching wood stake bed sides.
Pop open the 4 piece steel louvered hood and you will reveal the
original 4 cylinder motor. It was rebuilt during the restoration
and runs well. The 3 speed transmission shifts well with no issues.
This truck was restored to stock so it features all the components
you would find in 1932 but all were gone through. It also just
received a new 8 volt battery for extra starting power and comes
with a new 8 volt battery tender.
The interior is done in mostly Black with a Tan floor mat and
shifter boot. As with the rest of the truck everything has been
kept very original and stock. The Speedometer, Odometer and Amp
gauge are all working properly. The fuel gauge is not currently
functioning. It still has the floor ignition button which is
working and the column will still lock with the Hurd key. The
original steering wheel, pop out front windshield, everything is
there and so cool to see in place.
You see a lot of cars of this era getting cut up, chopped, and
customized. Those street rods are cool but there is also something
very special seeing one in their original intended state. With its
all original 32 Ford steel, vehicles like this are slowly becoming
more and more difficult to find.
This nice 32 Ford Pickup is a bargain at $28,500.00!
