1929 Ford Model A Depot Hack finished in Caramel paint with black
fenders. This particular car is a replica of a depot hack with side
mount spare and 4dr wood cab. Depot Hack started out in the early
1900's heading to upstate New York hauled to and from the train
depot and the resorts. A coach builder at the time would convert
Model T's to this 4-door, in this case "Hack" is another term for -
taxi. This is a steel vehicle where you see metal. Chrome surround
in nice shape with a good shine, paint is in nice shape also.
Powered by the 201 L-head I6 that is paired with a 3-speed manual
transmission. Riding on the black spoke wheels. Black vinyl seats
have been added with 3-row seating, all in good shape. Wood is in
extremely nice shape and looks great throughout. Under the dash on
the passenger side is the fuel shutoff switch. Stock dash setup to
complete the look of this classic Ford. Start sequence includes
turning the key and pulling it out slightly and then you are able
to use the floor push button start. To turn it off you want to the
key to the left and push it in. Stock sounding Model A!
