For Sale: 1970 Chevrolet Nova in Concord, North Carolina

Vehicle Description

This 1970 Chevrolet Nova is exactly what makes you love these Chevys. It takes the full midnight flair and adds a hot small block and four-on the-floor. The result is a classic that is sleek, stylish, and absolutely intimidating.

Chevy seemed to give this generation the kind of beefy style that made sure the compact designation was only about being in a lighter class than some of their other cars. After all, the well-creased bodylines look intimidating - especially in black. And you can see from the gloss on this car that they made a nice investment in this dark application. The black steel wheels are an awesome part of this package, too. The aggressive redline looks terrific, and the dog dish hubcaps make this feel almost like a Yenko machine. While this car has a true dark side, they also made sure the brightwork is looking good on the big chrome bumpers, full trim, and from some angles you can even see the diff cover.

More of that Yenko feeling continues inside with a stock and clean interior. A smooth dash pad, good carpeting, and comfy bench seats get the fundamentals right. There are some upgrades. It ranges from vintage style with the wood-like trim on the door panels, to a modern AM/FM/CD stereo. Plus, you can really see that this was built with the driver in mind. You have a wood-rimmed sports steering wheel, auxiliary gauge trio, and a tach mounted on the steering column. That last one goes particularly well with the Hurst floor shifter.

Under the hood is proper small block power. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8 built with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and a nice set of headers that feed into the X-pipe dual exhaust. It's a strong motor, and you have complete control of this full power package as the four-speed manual transmission feeds a 12-bolt rear end. As you look underneath, you'll spot more worthwhile upgrades, including subframe connectors and traction bars. And features like power steering, power brakes w/discs up front, and wide Cooper Cobra tires are great for anytime driving.

This is the Nova made to look and feel like your muscle car dreams. So all you have to do now is not miss this deal. Call now!
