1969 Chevy Chevelle SS 396 Convertible Here is one super fun car to drive, and it looks amazing!!!! This 1969 Chevy Chevelle Convertible has a date coded 69 396 with a mild cam. The motor is super strong with less than 1000 miles on the new build. The motor is mated to a M22 Muncie 4 speed transmission with a 12 bolt rear end. The car has Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes too. The car was a factory Air Conditioned car here in Texas, but someone removed it. Vintage Air could be added back. The power top works well, the top is in nice shape. The car is super nice, all original sheet metal, no filled quarters of Bondo. No cuts or patches, original floors and nice trunk pan. The paint is very nice, ghost stripes are 'no feel' under clear. All the glass is nice, Gauges all work. The hood sits a bit high over hinges, needs adjustment.
