1978 Volkswagen *VW* Bus 4 Cyl Manual Transmission 98K miles New
paint, the repaint is good quality and shows professional
workmanship. Seats, chrome wheels 17-inch 205-40-17 inch tires ,
weather seals on doors and all windows. There are a few minor
scratches here and there around the vehicle. The underside shows
areas of surface rust. The front bumper shows a couple minor rock
chips. There is an area where the rubber seal has separated on the
front driver's door area of the vehicle. There is no evidence of
water leaks. I checked the vehicle with a magnet and found it to
stick all around but was weaker in the lower panels. Not excessive.
No leaks were found around the aftermarket sunroof. The roof pop-up
works and is secure, but there are a couple areas where the screen
has holes. Interior The sun-visors shows wear and tear. Both of the
sun-visors are a little loose the seats are aftermarket. The inner
door panel on the passenger side is missing the arm rest. The
interior trim is in good condition for the engine to start and run
well. The transmission engaged in both forward and reverse with no
issues. The brakes were firm, and held the vehicle properly. The
engine is seeping some oil from the underside. There were no drips
at time of inspection. This area should be cleaned off and
rechecked to verify the source of leak or leaks. A visual
inspection of the steering and suspension showed no obvious issues
