A truly beautiful TR3A..........owned by a Connecticut family for over 30 years, well cared for, maintained, and reconditioned as needed.
Excellent body, beautiful show quality deep BRG paint, truly 'mirror image' finish and certainly 'laser straight.' Add new interior, new chrome, new top and tonneau, nicely detailed dash, spotless engine bay and trunk compartment and the result....a stunning TR3A.
It came in and I went for a drive.......70 psi oil pressure at operating temperature, zero smoke, VERY quick with a smooth revving engine that was perfectly happy hitting the red line in each gear. Gearbox was quiet and had perfect synchromesh. Likewise...brakes (disc) were strong and no 'feel' of rotor warping. All in all, brilliant performance for a sixty year old sports car.
Can see a new cloth covered wiring harness, everything works electrically (including the factory heater), carbs are spotless, original air cleaners, a sweet, 110 mph English classic that is as sturdy as the farm tractor heritage of its engine. And one of the nicest TR3As we have seen in a very long time.
