For Sale: 1969 Chevrolet Camaro in Milford, Michigan

Vehicle Description

Up for sale is our 1969 Camaro SS! This first gen Camaro is in impeccable condition! Truly a sight to be seen! This car underwent a serious rotisserie restoration in and has been meticulously maintained ever since!

EXTERIOR:

This car was California built. It had been stored indoors, unused from 1986 till 2000 in Kansas. The entire car was stripped to a bare shell and all parts were bagged and labeled. In 2001 the metal was media blasted bare. It was then put on a rotisserie. It was prepped and painted by an expert then painstakingly reassembled. Repainted its factory color, Daytona yellow. DuPont Chromebase urethane was used and it is has been polished like yellow chrome! This car is also decked out with spoilers, exterior trim package, and hockey stick stripes. All of the chrome and trim has been replaced. Stainless around the windows is polished, new period correct antenna. The front and rear glass is new. Weatherstrips and window seals were replaced. It also has a new set of Torque Thrust wheels on BFG tires.

INTERIOR:

Factory deluxe interior. Original molded door panels in great shape. New PUI comfort weave upholstery. Headliner is new and tight as a drum. Visors and mirror are new. Has all the factory GM seat belts in excellent condition. The center console is new, has Autometer gauge cluster with tachometer and clock. Also has an aftermarket armrest with cup holders. Dash area is mint- the lenses, heater controls, dash pad etc. Has working factory Am-Fm. Glovebox liner is new, has pouch with owner's manual. Ashtray and correct lighter are new. Deluxe wheel is on a tilt column. Dome light, console light and glovebox light all work.


ENGINE COMPARTMENT:

This engine bay is show quality. Everything still looks new! The motor is a 350-crate engine bored and stroked to 365 with 425 hp. Has Speed Pro Forged 10:1 pistons, Moly piston rings, Comp Extreme cam. #186 double hump heads were street ported and got bigger stainless valves. Has a factory GM aluminum high rise intake with dual feed blueprinted 750 Holley carb. The car also has a Pro Billet distributor and MSD ignition. A set of Jet Hot coated headers let the motor exhale and shake the ground. The engine is dressed up with polished-finned valve covers. All the brackets, pulleys, bolts are excellent. Has correct GM stamped hoses and reproduction clamps, radiator and shroud look new. Has spring clamp battery cables and Delco battery topper. Power brake booster is polished, master cylinder looks new, all of the lines are stainless. Power steering looks new including hoses and steering box. All the components areexcellent- alternator, wiper motor, fuel pump etc. All the painted surfaces are smooth and tidy.


TRUNK COMPARTMENT:

Super dry, clean metal with black and aqua spatter finish paint neatly sprayed. It has a vintage Goodyear tire and a painted rim for a spare. The jack assembly is restored and mounted properly. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb have also been painted. It's detailed out with new latches, weatherstrip, decals and wiring harness.

UNDERSIDE:

The bottom of the car is detailed like new. Chassis and floors are satin black. Front end suspension and steering is completely rebuilt and detailed. Bottom of the motor is spotless. Has high torque starter. Aluminized 2 1/2-inch exhaust with crossover pipe and Flowmaster mufflers. Rebuilt Turbo 350 with external cooler and TCI 3,000 stall converter. Restored driveshaft, replaced u-joints with safety loop. Has 12 bolt rear end with 3.31 posi and Moser unbreakable axles. Brake system was completely restored, has disc in front. New lines, hoses, e-brake assembly etc. Rear suspension is rebuilt and detailed. Fuel system was replaced- tank, straps, sending unit, lines etc.
