GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1921 Ford T-Bucket for
your consideration. This older build features a 350 v8 paired with
an automatic transmission. Highlights include Wilwood front disc
brakes, headers/side pipes, Edelbrock intake, Weld racing wheels,
Holley Dominator intake. It rides on 165R15 tires in the front and
29x15.50-15LT Mickey Thompson tires in the rear. The black exterior
shows well and the gray interior remains in good condition as
well.
Popularized in television shows like '77 Sunset Strip and then
taken over with the "Greaser" movement, cars known as "T-Buckets"
have a special place in classic car folklore. Having a fast car in
the 50's was not such an easy task with the weight of American
production vehicles. Using a pre-WWII frame and dropping an engine
into the simple drive train became a popular way of finding some
speed. The "T-Bucket" usually features a front radiator, straight
windshield, and some sort of custom (and usually loud) paintwork.
Simple and fun to drive, a turn-key ready T-Bucket is great to have
sitting in the garage for that nice day to tear up some
pavement.
