Owner, 1972 Porsche 911T to the world market. This car was
purchased new on September 7, 1972 by the current owners father
from Stoddard Imported Cars in Ohio. The 911T is finished in it's
original Light Ivory and shows very well over a neat and tidy
interior with Houndstooth front seats. This is the only year that
the side oiler was an option.
Today, as a result of a lifetime of responsible ownership, the car
remains in beautiful condition throughout and mechanically it is
very fit. The car is powered by its original, numbers matching, air
cooled 6 cylinder engine 2.4 liter engine and 5 speed manual
gearbox. This 911 is a pure pleasure to drive. It pulls strong in
every gear, tracks straight down the road, the suspension and
steering is responsive and tight, and the car brakes straight.
Documentation is extensive and includes: original bill of sale, the
original Maintenance Record showing the serial number and engine
number, correspondence between the original owner and Porsche North
America and service records from Stoddard.
The following is all new on the car: fuel sending unit, all new
brake lines, rear shocks, front and rear brake pads, fuel lines,
oil return line, oil filter, fuel filter, seals in transmission and
was recently inspected while apart, spark plugs and wires, oil
return tubes, Pirelli tires, injection timing belt, V-belt, sway
bar bushings, front hood springs, front and rear engine seals,
clutch assembly with pilot bearing, gaskets heat ex-changers,
stainless heater control boxes, bolts in flywheel/clutch pressure
plate. The front and rear calipers were rebuilt, the firewall
lining in engine compartment was replaced, recent valve adjustment,
and the fuel injection was rebuilt along with a rebuilt pump. Other
highlights include radio delete, rear defrost, fully functioning
crisp and clear gauges, working clock.

experience that pure and direct, and have proven to be a blue chip
