Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Nice, affordable post-war Ford street rod! High-quality
weekend driver! This older custom has held up well, and still looks
fantastic. 350V8, PS, A/C, Ready for your local car show.
BODY OVERVIEW: Restored in the late 1980s/early 1990s, this Ford
sure is a looker now! As fresh as this car still looks, even by
modern custom standards, when freshly done she must've been top
notch! While there's some minor signs of age and use showing, the
body is very straight and in good condition.
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: Much like the body, the paint is showing
some age, but a high-quality buff would likely go a very long way
in bringing it back up to snuff. Aging aside, the deep burgundy
color has a nice shine and shows very well. Imperfections are
minimal, and a professional detail would do a lot for it.
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The interior looks to be the same age
as the rest of the restoration/customization this vehicle has
received, and has held up impressively over time. It was certainly
put together by someone who knew what they were doing! The tan
leather is the perfect match to the burgundy exterior, while the
tinted windows are a tasteful modification that make the interior
of this Ford just that much more comfortable. The interior is very
tastefully done, and makes for a comfortable ride!
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: In classic hot-rodder style, under the hood is
a Chevrolet 350 V8 hooked up to a TH350 automatic transmission.
While it is nothing super crazy high horsepower, it does run
smoothly and provides more than adequate power to get this car
rolling. This car isn't a speed demon, but it runs with a nice,
deep exhaust note and is sure to make an excellent weekend cruiser
with plenty of power to keep up with modern traffic. Other upgrades
include rack and pinion power steering, power front disc brakes,
and rear coilovers for improved handling capabilities and air
conditioning for increased comfort.
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: The unique look, and overall
condition! Plus, it's had the same owner for 30 years!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: As modern as this older street
rod build looks, some may perhaps still consider this a dated look.
We love it!
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The odometer and radio are not currently
operational, however the radio does power on and flash "need
code."
