#'S MATCHING ENGINE, LeMANS BLUE This 1968 Camaro shows very well.
The LeMans Blue with white SS stripes stands out on a super
straight body with nice fit and finish. The doors shut nice. The
tinted glass is in good shape and it has a new windshield. All the
trim has been polished or replaced. The front and rear bumpers are
shiny, The front grill is nice as well as the SS emblem, mirrors,
door handles, tail light bezels and marker light bezels all look
new. The SS gas cap and SS hood louvers look new as well. It rides
on a set of 15" Chevy Rally's, center caps and trim rings with
newer Goodyear tires. The engine compartment is nicely detailed.
The number matching 327 cubic inch engine has had a few performance
upgrades: a little hotter cam, Holley 4-barrel carburetor and a set
of headers. Also added was power steering, a set of chrome valve
covers and chrome air cleaner. All the headlight vacuum hoses for
the headlights are new, new upper control arm bushings and a newer
3 core radiator. The engine bay is painted in a gloss black finish.
The interior is in nice shape with newer carpet, head liner, door
panels and armrest bases. The dash is in great shape with a factory
tic-toc-tach. The factory console has factory gauges that work. The
interior also has an aftermarket wood steering wheel, factory front
and rear seatbelts, new vents, sill plates, newer weather stripping
and aftermarket Camaro floor mats. All heater controls slide
freely. The undercarriage is clean. The subframe has new body
bushings. The bottom of the engine is clean as well as the 4-speed
transmission. It has new tie-rod ends, upper and lower ball joints
and leaf spring bushings. Four wheel disc brakes were added. The
gas tank and straps look good. It has a 10 bolt posi rear with 3:73
gears and a 2.5" FlowMaster exhaust.E brake cables are hooked up
and working The undercarriage is painted in a satin black finish.
The trunk is nicely detailed with a coat of splatter paint on clean
metal. It has a spare tire, jack assembly, new weather stripping
and the posi traction decal on bottom of trunk lid. This 1968
Camaro has some desirable features and definitely is easy on the
eyes!!
