A beautiful car, excellent body (went over the body and rockers with a magnet, didn't find any plastic filler), new white paint, excellent wheels with fairly new Michelin redlines, top isn't new but in very good condition, same with interior in deep red, chrome appears to be original and a bit worn but not dented or peeling, engine bay is very clean, and.............super desirable overdrive in perfect working condition.
A nice new aftermarket wood steering wheel, spotless trunk, and underneath....other than some meaningless surface rust (easily corrected with sand paper and some spray cans of black paint), floors are excellent as are body mounts, inner sills, etc. For a 45 year old, really incredibly well preserved.
Wood dash is good BUT car comes with a brand new wood dash. Everything works, doesn't smoke, 65-70 psi oil pressure, excellent synchromesh, the only thing we found wrong was some wear on the front lower control arm bushings, about to be replaced.
Has boot cover and tonneau, ancient cassette stereo (easily replaced), starts instantly, runs flawlessly, a very nice TR6, ready for Spring 2021.
