Vehicle Description
HIGHLIGHTS: Super clean restoration! 396V8, 4-speed manual, power
front disc brakes! Vintage Air A/C! MSD electronic ignition!
BODY OVERVIEW: The body on this El Camino is just as smooth and
straight as can be! Built to be a high-quality weekend cruiser,
it's no surprise how well this car turned out. Every body line is
defined, and this car really pops!
PAINT CONDITION OVERVIEW: The paint on this El Camino is slick and
smooth like calm water. Professionally painted in the 1971 Corvette
color "Ontario Orange," this El Camino is bound to stick out in any
crowd. The paint has been kept up since it was built, and looks
almost as if it could've been painted yesterday. This thing is a
head turner!
INTERIOR CONDITION OVERVIEW: The black vinyl interior is a
fantastic contrast to the exterior color, and nicely matches the
black center stripes on the exterior. The interior is in nice,
ready to go condition and much like the paint it still looks new.
While the interior retains a mostly stock look at first, some mild
custom touches have been added such as orange stitching, a modern
radio and custom speaker boxes behind the seat, and a tasteful
aftermarket steering wheel. The Vintage Air factory-style controls
are a nice, subtle touch.
MECHANICAL OVERVIEW: Where to begin! Under the hood is a 396 big
block Chevy, equipped with MSD HEI electronic ignition, a 4-barrel
carburetor, Edlebrock aluminum intake, polished valve covers,
polished brake master cylinder and alternator, and other good
lookin' goodies. The 396 runs like a top, and the 4-speed shifts
just right! This El Camino is also equipped with power brakes,
including disc brakes on the front and 18" wheels. Finished off
with dual exhaust and Magnaflow mufflers, this thing is ready to
rip up the streets!
WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT THIS CAR: Is 'everything' an option? Because
that's probably going to be the case. The way this car sounds and
drives is the best part by far!
WHAT YOU MIGHT HATE ABOUT THIS CAR: The only potential downside we
see is if you plan on piling more than 2-3 people in your car show
vehicle.
DOES IT NEED ANYTHING? The tachometer and horn are not currently
operational.
WHAT BUYER IS LOOKING FOR THIS CAR? This car is for someone who
doesn't mind attention! If you want something unique that doesn't
appear "crazy custom" to the naked eye, this is definitely it!
