Vehicle Description
LaSalle was an American brand of luxury automobiles manufactured
and marketed by General Motors' Cadillac division from 1927 through
1940. Like Cadillac, the LaSalle brand name was based on that of a
French explorer, Rene-Robert Cavalier, Sieur de La Salle. The car
features a 322ci flathead V8 engine attached to a Synchromesh
3-speed manual transmission. The engine features a cast-iron block
and cylinder head with a Carter two-barrel carburetor. This 1938
LaSalle Sedan is a fine example painted in black with a tan and
gray striped broadcloth interior equipped with front and rear bench
seats. The exterior features polished chrome trim and bumpers,
additional triple safety lights and blinkers.
