Our 1972 Mercury Montego GT was bought new right here locally and only kept it for about a year and traded it in at a local VW Dealer on a brand new Beetle. Enter owner number two. Purchased with only 8,000 miles from the VW Dealer he immediately gave the car the "Day 2" treatment adding Appliance wheels and installing a aftermarket 8-track tape player in the console. Owner number two kept the car in great condition and only used the rare GT for nice days and special occasions and always garage kept. Owner two kept the car right up until March of 2021 and only accumulating on 48,000 miles. Beautifully equipped with the Q-Code 351 Cobra Jet motor with automatic transmission.
