For Sale: 1963 Chrysler Turbine Car in Saint Louis, Missouri
This genuine Chrysler Turbine engine and transmission assembly is a
fascinating display piece. Unit number GT-135 is a sealed turbine
unit and transmission assembly, that is believed to be a spare from
the Turbine Car public test program of 1963-1964. While Chrysler's
turbine development continued into the early 1980s, nearly all of
the cars, spares, and tooling related to the 1963 Turbine Cars
project were destroyed after the public test. It isn't known
exactly how many of these engines survived, but Frank was able to
rescue a few from the depths of Chrysler's cache. A rolling display
stand is included. This incredible piece of Jet Age technology
would be the ultimate centerpiece to virtually any collection of
cars and rare automobilia. Offers are Welcome For additional
