What we have here is a 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL with approximately
84,900 original miles on the odometer. Finished in her original red
paint and complemented by her Black leather interior, she is a
driver. The hardtop is in great condition, is in storage (on a
wheeled roof rack) and is painted the color of the car. The
convertible top is in very good condition and is always up when
stored for the winter to avoid shrinkage. Overall this car is in
acceptable driving condition, has been serviced over the years and
is now ready to drive to a new home.
This 1981 Mercedes Benz 380SL has been owned by the same person for
13 years and has never been used in the winter but rather, was
stored for 6 or 7 months a year. She has her original equipment
which is all in working condition. She of course has AC, Power
Steering and Power Brakes. We have shown the one area where the car
shows some rust bubbles - at the front of the hood by the grill.
The rocker panels which are often an issue on these cars are in
good condition as you can see from the pictures. The original
wheels are included with the sale of the car.
