Vehicle Description
This is a Ford Shelby GT500KR (King of the Road) 40th Anniversary
Limited Edition coupe. Identified by its CSM, 08KR0909, it is one
of 328 cars finished in Ebony Black with Satin Ebony stripes out of
a total production run of 1,011 for the 2008 model year. The Ford
SVT-engineered 5.4-liter supercharged V8 engine was enhanced with a
Ford Racing Power Upgrade Pack to boost horsepower to 540 and
torque to 510 ft/lbs. The added power came via revised ignition and
air/fuel calibration, a throaty Ford Racing-inspired dual exhaust
and a cold-air intake system that was specially designed to mate
well against the KR's unique carbon-fiber hood. This KR comes
equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, 14-inch vented Brembo
front disc brakes with 4-piston aluminum calipers, factory
11.8-inch vented disc brakes with dual-piston calipers out back,
Shelby Performance exhaust and Ford Racing-tuned SVT suspension.
This KR rides on unique GT500KR 18-inch Shelby Alcoa polished
aluminum wheels with SVT/Shelby center caps. This one-owner car has
665 actual miles (the title reads mileage exempt) and comes
complete with original Window Stickers, owner's manual, brake
cooling kit for the car (still in the box) and a car cover.
