Nice little Hotrod / Shop truck. Older paint and body, so there are some blemishes, but overall a good twenty footer.
New GM 350. Fresh TH 350 transmission. Total rewire. Air Ride all around. New wood in the bed. Runs super.
There are too many toys in my toybox, so she needs a new home.
So they tell me I didn't use enough words in describing this little cutie. Here goes.
This is a very solid body, with little rust. It's riding on a 1988 C1500 frame that has been given the the full AirRide Tech chassis. Tubular A arms in front and Four Bar in the back. Ride height is controlled via a new analog Ridetech panel. The height shown in the photos, is as low as it goes, and about 6" up from there the highest.
The engine is a brand new GM Performance crate 350 gen 1, with an Edelbrock ESP intake, Holley 4 bbl, and long tube headers. Sounds great and runs strong.
The TH 350 transmission was rebuilt prior to being installed with the new motor, along with an external trans oil cooler. The engine and trans have about 500 miles on them.
Other new parts include a 4 row Aluminum radiator and hoses, rear brakes, all 4 shocks, pitman arm, wipers and on and on. (Ask my wife)
This old girl is an absolute hoot to drive around town. The smiles and waves and conversations in the parking lots are endless.
I'm not going to tell you she's a show truck, but I will tell you that it's a solid reliable driver, with some unique features, and a great visual appeal.
I'm done talking for now, back to the shop! If you have questions, send them along.
