Vehicle Description
The delightfully unconventional Scott Flying Squirrel is one of the
underdog heroes of British motorcycling. A pioneer of two-stroke
power, Scott motorbikes were the first oil-burners to complete a
full TT course under race conditions, going on to win the TT in
1912 and 1913. This 1939 model is a marvelous pre-war example,
equipped with the optional full frame tank. It is offered in
largely original condition with a pleasing patina, suitable for
preservation or restoration. Please note this motorcycle has
received a cursory mechanical check, and while the engine is free,
it has not been started during its time in the Kleptz collection,
and is offered as-is, requiring additional sorting. It is sold on a
bill of sale only. For additional details please view this listing
