Vehicle Description
The WL was originally developed by Harley-Davidson as a tough,
lightweight bike for military use. Featuring a 45 cubic-inch
flathead V-twin, the WL was renowned for its durability and snappy
performance. When the war ended, the civilian market was flooded
with WLs to meet unprecedented post-war demand, and these
affordable, plentiful bikes became favorites among enthusiasts for
years to come. This 1946 example is an early post-war model,
offered in excellent original condition, with a delightful
character. Please note this motorcycle has received a cursory
mechanical check, and while the engine is free, it has not been
started during its time in the Kleptz collection. It is offered
as-is, requiring additional sorting, and is sold on a bill of sale
