Vehicle Description
This custom 1972 Chevrolet C10 is powered by a professionally
balanced and blueprinted twin-turbo 408ci 8-cylinder LS engine
that's been outfitted with Tick Performance solid-lifter turbo cam,
CNC ported 317 heads with CHE guides, T&D shaft rockers,
Ferrera Inconel exhaust valves with superalloy intakes, Manton
pushrods, Crower lifters, Wiseco pistons, K1 crank and rods,
Melling high-volume oil pump and Magnum billet 69mm turbochargers.
The engine block was professionally machined and assembled, and
features a custom water-to-air intercooler designed to look like a
14-inch air cleaner. Additionally, the block has been modified to
accept BLP Inc oil squirters. Additional engine modifications
include a Holley Dominator EFI system with boost management, Holley
injectors, Holley 4-barrel 4150 throttle body and a Holley
single-plane intake manifold. Power is sent through a TR6060
6-speed manual transmission utilizing a massive dual disc clutch
with a Wilwood hydraulic clutch master cylinder and Driveshaft Shop
dual CV aluminum driveshaft to a Ford 9-inch rear axle with 3.90
gears, helical posi-traction and Detroit TruTrac. Gripping the
pavement is a set of 20x8 front and 20x10 Rocket Racing wheels
wearing Nitto NT05 tires and stopping power is provided by Wilwood
14-inch rotors at all four corners with 6-piston calipers up front,
4-piston calipers in the rear and dual master cylinders with a bias
bar. This custom sits on a 5/7 static drop using 3-inch drop coils
in the front with Wilwood aluminum spindles, and fabricated arms
and 4-inch drop springs in the rear with a 2-inch lowering block.
Exterior modifications include a custom vehicle wrap, front and
rear roll pans, custom taillights made too look like small bombs
and NOS red headlights from a '50s ambulance. The completely
one-off interior features a seat that's built into the truck,
center console holding a Holley digital dash to monitor boost and
engine vitals, Classic Instruments Autocross Series gauges in the
dash, including speedometer, tachometer, fuel level, oil pressure
and temperature, Lokar billet shifter, Wilwood custom pedal
assembly and a lightweight aluminum steering wheel from LJRC. This
pickup has been additionally equipped with line lock and two step,
and runs on E85.
