Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1931 Ford Model A "Slant
Window" Town Sedan. Finished in two-tone green with black fenders
and running boards, this is a nicely-restored example in excellent
cosmetic and mechanical condition. Nice paint over an all-steel
body with no known rust issues, plus excellent glass and trim. Wire
wheels with Firestone whitewalls (plus two spares) are all in good
condition.
The Town Sedan was Ford's nicest offering in 1931 with the most
upscale finishes and hardware; the slant-window (so named due to
the 19-degree slant of the windshield) was a 1931-only model and is
widely considered the most desirable Model A sedan.
Interior presents nicely with excellent carpet, seat upholstery,
door panels and headliner. Dynamat sound-deadening insulation on
the floors under the carpet helps with both heat and noise
abatement. Factory gauges, lights and switches are working normally
- and a non-invasive turn signal system has been discreetly added
for safety on modern roads.
Under the hood is Ford's venerable 201 cubic inch flat-head
four-cylinder mated to a three-speed manual transmission. This
Model A was also restored mechanically - it starts easily and runs
and drives nicely. For more information about this 1931 Model A
