This 1965 Triumph TR4 underwent a full ground-up restoration and is
finished in British Racing Green over a tan interior. It rides on
chrome wire wheels and is powered by a 2138cc inline-4 engine
backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. The comprehensive
nut-and-bolt restoration was done in 2010 and remains in good
condition today. The British Racing Green paint was nicely applied
and there are no paint issues after 11 years. The floors are
finished in BRG top and bottom, as they should be. The paint
quality in the engine compartment and under the hood, trunk and
underside is just as well done as the outer body. The venerable
Triumph 4-cylinder engine and transmission were redone during the
restoration process. The wire wheels are new and finished in a show
chrome finish. The suspension has all been attended to and the car
has been upgraded with front disc brakes. All the Lucas electrics
are correct and operating as designed. All of the chrome and
stainless on this restoration was restored or renewed to great
condition. The interior is as nice as the rest of the car with
quality components used everywhere. The convertible top is in great
shape and is a nice match to the tan interior, as is the
convertible top boot. Even the underside of the dash and the gauges
are restored.
