Grandma's six cylinder four-door to a ground pounding big block
that would make Granny faint. The Chevelle offered something for
nearly everyone, which is one reason that they've remained at the
heart of American car culture for decades. Our striking 1966
Chevrolet Malibu Convertible can certainly bring the thunder, but
it's also capable of relaxed, top-down cruising thanks to some
choice components. Beneath the hood is a Chevy Gen VI 454 V8 that's
sporting 4-bolt mains, a hydraulic roller cam, a Holley carburetor,
an aluminum intake manifold, Hooker long tube headers, an aluminum
water pump, HEI, and a DeWitts aluminum radiator with twin electric
fans and shroud. Additional features include power steering, power
front disc brakes, air conditioning, 700R4 automatic transmission
with overdrive,12-bolt rear end, HD front and rear stabilizer bars,
Cragar wheels, factory console with clock, tilt steering column,
Autometer gauges, and a newer stereo. Our crimson cruiser has nice
paint, chrome, trim, glass, upholstery, and a great convertible
top, which makes for a very enjoyable ride. Just the chariot you
