On offer at Driven is ''Mr. Purple'' a beautiful example of the
991.1 GT3RS. We can't claim to have come up with the name, instead
we thank Chris Harris for developing the perfect moniker when he
initially tested the dot one GT3RS upon its release in 2015. The
engine is 4.0-liters with 490 HP and 346 lb-ft torque, delivering
0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds. The only gearbox available is the paddle
shifting double clutch PDK. Wheels are 20'' up front and 21'' in
the rear with rear axle steering, and a fully variable rear
differential lock. Mr. Purple is a two-owner 2016 GT3RS that came
to Driven via trade-in. The Ultraviolet color is a real head
turner, and the paint is protected with clear protection film and
ceramic coating. Wheels are satin black, as are the rear wing
struts and wing end caps. The original MSRP was $210,100 and
significant options selected include carbon ceramic brakes, light
weight racing bucket seats, front axle lift, and sport chrono
package with white instrument dials. The car optionally comes with
Soul Performance Products' side muffler delete and center muffler
delete packages which create a phenomenal sound track when blasting
through the gears. Also available are custom seat inserts from P1
Designs, to provide a supremely comfortable place to sit when
embarking on long stints behind the wheel. Two keys, owner manuals
and service records come with the car. Contact Driven today for a
well-maintained Ultraviolet 991.1 GT3RS.
