For Sale: 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera in Houston, Texas

Driven obtained this lovely Carrera through a search for our team's entry in the December 2019 Raduno Rally. The Raduno is a 3 day adventure drive through the Texas hill country. To enter, your car must be a 1989 or older. We we initially registered, Driven did not own a qualifying car. The search was on! Shortly there after we came across this 1988 Carrera in Ohio. It was a well sorted car, owned by the same gentleman for 14 years as a daily driver / track toy. The Brumos inspired stripes caught our eye as we are big Hurley Haywood fans here. After a few conversations with the owner and sifting through the thick stack of service records, Driven bit the bullet and made the purchase. Driven made a few enhancements and knocked off some maintenance items in preparation for the rally and of course, the next caretaker. We started with the obvious, oil change, new pads & rotors all the way around, a valve adjustment, all new wheel bearings, new bushings on all 3 pedals, and many other little bits and bobs. Nice additions like Rennline pedals and WEVO shifter and motor mounts improve feedback to the driver. The Raduno Rally was a blast and the little G body handled everything the hill country could throw at it. In 2021, newly added tires all around, steering rack and bump steer kit, adjustable rear sway bar links, and oil and filter service.
