Highly Impressive 1968 AMC AMX Fastback Coupe
The next amazing classic up for grabs in our Fairfield showroom is
this gorgeous 1968 AMC AMX Fastback Coupe with black exterior paint
and a matching black vinyl interior. You'll find a 401 cid V-8
engine under the hood that's paired to a 4-speed manual
transmission, power steering, power brakes, the factory "GO
package. American Torque Thrust wheels, factory air conditioning
and the original AM/FM radio. This highly impressive classic shows
65,850 miles on the odometer as well, which the current owner
believes could be lifetime mileage of this example. A truly rare
car made even rarer with its Black over Black color scheme, the
Factory A/C, and "Go Pack" Option. One of 2,112 Factory 4-Speed
AMX's. Racing Stripes,Sway bar, Rear Axel Torque Rods, Front 4
Piston Disc Brakes, and a "Twin Grip" 3:54 to 1 Rear

Two-Owner Muscle Car from Southern California
The current owner of this 1968 AMC AMX Fastback Coupe took
possession in 2009 as the 3 rd lifetime owner and he informs us
that it originally sold in Southern California. We have a large
stack of receipts, documentation and other history on file to show
that this classic was always maintained at the highest possible
levels as it's spent the past 15 years in the high desert of
Sparks, Nevada. It shows excellent in person with very clean body
lines, very good paint and an immaculate engine bay with an
original look & feel. We do know it was an original 390 ci V-8 car
from the factory that had its original engine replaced with an
higher performance AMC 401 ci V-8 during its restoration.
Additionally, this 1968 AMC AMX Fastback Coupe is an absolute
pleasure to drive on the open road with great acceleration and
above average handling for a true muscle car. The interior appears
highly original like the rest of this vehicle and shows only slight
levels of wear from being driven and enjoyed over the years. This
