Vehicle Description
A 1984 Porsche 911 Carrera like this is instantly desirable for
being an absolute icon. And while the car community is rapidly
gaining appreciation for these 3.2 cars, this one also has a bit
more. It's a terrific driver with a recent tune-up, cold-blowing
A/C, and the right well-placed upgrades.
This was the first year for the new Carrera 3.2, and they have a
desirable style. It keeps the iconic profile, and makes it a bit
sleeker with elements like the better integrated fog lights. The
Grand Prix White paint was given a respray later in life to make
sure that this one knows how to have a good overall shine even
nearly forty years after getting off the boat from Germany. The
updates to this one are tasteful, like the Euro-style headlights,
side mirror bras, and later 996 17-inch alloys. And we love the
iconic Carrera graphic down the side that has a high contrast look
against the white paint while also coordinating with the rest of
the exterior's black accents.
The tan interior has a nice elegant look against the white
exterior. With a car like this that was built around the driver,
you'll really appreciate some of the upgrades. We have a receipt
for new leather front seats later in life (2006). There's also a
Momo Prototipo sports steering wheel and classic silver rings now
around the race-inspired full gauge package. While these are about
the driving experience, a premium Porsche also knows how to give
you the best in luxury features. This one has power windows, an
alarm, an upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo, and Blaupunkt speakers. And
since the air conditioning is blowing nice and cold, it really
feels like an invite to open up the sunroof even in the
summertime.
Lift the rear hatch and see the best part of any 911. The
air-cooled motor is a true wonder, and this one has the fresh look
from a recent tune-up. You'll even spot good fundamentals with
newer pieces like the hoses, wires, and battery. While its SC
predecessors are desirable collectibles, most experts agree that
people will continue to pay more to get the hardy 3.2-liter
fuel-injected powerplant in this Carrera. More importantly, with
continued good maintenance, it has a history of durability to
remain a fun sports car as it continues into its cherished classic
years. A large reason for the fun on the road is the five-speed
manual transmission. It allows you to get the most out of the motor
as you pilot this lightweight Porsche on your favorite backroad.
Combine this with Porsche's legendary steering, sports suspension,
and four-wheel disc brakes, and this classic 911 will make you want
to hit the road every weekend.
Complete with owner's manuals and maintenance records, this is the
classic that proves you'll love driving your collectibles. And at
this attractive price, why wouldn't you??? Call today!!!
