The solstice was built for Pontiac's final five years from
2006-2010. The car was a instant hit with 7,000 orders in the first
ten days of availability with another 6,000 orders before winter.
GM delivered 10,000 units by March 1 with a total number by year
end of 21,273. The car was very similar to its concept of 2002
which people really liked. It shared much of its technology with
other GM automobiles.
