1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe
Multiple Trophy-Winning Restomod on Steroids! Bill Mitchell (BMP) of Deland, FL built 632ci engine w/ 845hp/800 ft.lbs + 300 hp Shot of Nitrous = 1145 hp!
Brings new meaning to the phrase “Heavy Chevy”
Purchased from the original owner, a lady from Jersey City, NJ & underwent an extensive build with family & friends beginning in early 2012 & basically finished (well, they’re never finished are they) 16 months later w/ on-going tweaks till February 2019.
The complete restoration, redesign, reengineering & mechanical upgrades encompassed body being stripped to bare metal & Nosed & Decked in `50’s Hot Rod style w/show-quality Platinum Silver paint by Mike Moore. All chrome & trim redone & LED lights installed in headlights, grill, mirrors incorporating turn signals & tail lights over a custom-built frame to house the impressive driveline & suspension. New custom, period style interior w/ Black Leather rolled & pleated seats. Retro Digital dash w/ LED gauges, tilt-wheel, A/C & a vintage fighter array of switches, instruments & dials.
No-expense spared utilizing the finest components & expert craftsmen. Not a Trailer Queen, but a solid #2 that was driven to shows throughout the Eastern Coast. What’s the purpose of having this much horsepower always trailered & to be parked on a Show Field?
NOTE: Due to scheduling restraints & unfamiliarity of the process as this is an Estate Sale, we are having the appraiser- ClassicGray©, who personally inspected the vehicle and provided all photographs, videos & description to moderate the auction & competently answer all your questions. It can be shown on a very limited basis due to the availability of family members, so please examine all the pics, videos & description and feel free to ask any questions. You may buy w/ confidence from someone who has been in business for 23 years brokering & appraising vehicles, selling six figure collectibles w/o personal inspection to satisfied clients worldwide.
Chevy was only able to be driven through a private, gated residential community necessitating adherence to speed & noise restrictions, but I think you get the idea.
