This 1980 Ford F-150 4WD Styleside is a very cool truck. Based on
information from the last owner this truck was from Pennsylvania
and registered in Florida. The miles are original and the truck was
kept in his Pennsylvania Barn and used very little every year. We
acquired the truck and before we could sell had someone that wanted
to buy it to use as a daily driver. He asked us to have the truck
Rust-Proofed through Ziebart since were having a Line-X Bedliner
put in at that time. Unfortunately he could not come up with the
money to buy the truck so we are listing it for the first time.
That is the backstory on the truck, so now to the details.
The body and paint on this truck are really nice. The body is
straight and clean and the paint looks great. The truck was
repainted at some point. The underside of the truck is rust proofed
currently and was in good shape before that, but it did have the
normal rust on the frame and bare metal parts that you would see on
an older original truck. The interior is original and excellent! We
believe the Seat was recovered as it looks like new and the rest of
the interior is in beautiful condition. All of the lights, gauges,
heat, ac, horn, and wipers are working. We could not get the Cruise
Control to work. It is just a really nice original interior.
Mechanically this truck runs and drives great!!! The 351M V8
engines runs smooth and has great power and the C6 Automatic
Transmission shifts smooth. It is mated to the np208 Transfer Case
and the 4WD works like it should. The rear axle is a 9 Inch with
3.50 Gears and it is a Limited Slip. Front Axle is a Dana 44 IFS
with 3.50 Gears. The truck also has a newer set of Aluminum Rims on
new 31 Inch Goodyear All Terrain Tires.
