Vehicle Description
This 1986 Jeep CJ7 Renegade has been given investments to keep the
motor strong, the A/C interior comfy, and keep this ready for the
right off-road lifestyle. It really makes for the right 4x4 that
loves to over-deliver on your expectations.
The dark blue paint has a good look on this Jeep. It's a
distinctive color that also gives this a touch of a premium
feeling. After all, the new tan soft top package gives the kind of
timeless contrast you may see on a European convertible. And the
two lighter blue tones in the Renegade decal makes this look quite
stylish. But on a vehicle like a CJ, the style also lives in
harmony with the substance. For example, the chrome grille goes
nicely with the tubular side steps and upgraded rear bumper
w/trailer hitch. And as tasteful as this looks, the finish will
never make you too nervous to do real off-road work. Plus, the
darkness of the upgraded wheels, fender flares, and front bumper
with fishing rod holders are all part of the coordinated look of
fun. It represents the best of what we love in a Jeep, and that's
pretty significant on a 1986 model. This was the last year for the
CJ series, and it's the final one to really have its roots right
back into the first Jeeps sold to the public after WWII. So that
just seems to make its vintage status noteworthy for more than just
its age.
Because the tan roof looks so good against the blue paint, you'll
love to see that underneath is an equally attractive interior with
tan seating. They have the look of a fresher investment, and nice
details you don't get elsewhere - like the rear headrests. Just
like the exterior, the full package was done for both style and
substance. You have the roll bar from the next generation installed
to offer full coverage and fit grab handles for everyone. It also
makes it easier to install the bikini top whenever you want an
outdoor feeling while keeping the sunshine off your shoulders. The
center console is a nice place to rest your arm, and it also
doubles as a lock box. Plus, this Jeep has features you won't find
in many other CJs. This includes an AM/FM/CD stereo w/Bluetooth,
upgraded speakers, cup holders, and air conditioning (yes, A/C in a
Jeep!)
Under the hood is a mainstay for Jeep fans. The 258 cubic-inch
inline-six is believed for its hardy nature. Plus, this one has
been given some more recent investments, including new wiring, new
seals, new manifold, new alternator, new driveshaft, and U-joints.
It makes for a solid driving CJ, and you even get better control
because these later ones came with a five-speed manual
transmission. The two-speed 4x4 transfer case, a few added inches
of suspension lift, and Procomp tires are great for off-road work.
And the power steering, power brakes, and front discs, are nice for
even enjoying the pavement, too.
Here's the last of the CJs, and this one has all the right
investments to let you enjoy it to the fullest. So don't let this
deal slip away. Call now!
