Vehicle Description
This 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Special is a lot of fun. It has the
old-school cruiser look on the outside and plenty of added comforts
(inducing A/C) in the inside. Plus, under the skin is upgraded V8
power, an upgraded suspension, and an overdrive transmission. So if
you like distinction, affordability, and usability, It all comes
together here.
This makes a great first impression, because these coupes have the
long hood and long trunk profile that looks both sporty and
premium. And there's nice brightwork, like the big chrome bumpers,
rear fender accents, wire wheel covers, and the artful trim that
encircles the base of the roof. The black paint has a good gloss,
and a comprehensive buff could really take it to the next level.
But right now, it already gives off the right personality of a
well-respected driver's car with classic lines and well-fitting
panels. In fact, there are only a few hints that this is an
upgraded machine, like the one-piece windshield and shaved trim
front & rear.
The gray interior respects its history while also giving you great
upgrades. For example, the seats have the classic button-top look,
and the upgraded velour gives them a sofa-like comfort. The door
panels were also done to match. When you like sharing a classic car
with others, it's nice to have features to keep everyone
comfortable. So you'll really appreciate the cup holder center
console and cold-blowing air conditioning. And this is especially
built with your long-haul comfort in mind. That's why there's a
classic Chevy sports steering wheel on a tilt column, and it gives
you a clear view of the upgraded full gauge package.
Under the hood will be one of your favorite additions. Chevy's
small block era was still a few years away when this one was new,
but it now gets a proper 327 cubic-inch V8 upgrade. This even has
an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, upgraded intake, and nice dual
exhaust. Other handy features you didn't get on a 1950s machine
include an alternator, an aluminum radiator, and an electric fan.
So yes, this was built to be a true runner. In fact, it can take
you near or far thanks to the upgraded 700R4 four-speed automatic
transmission with highway-ready overdrive. This also has an
upgraded independent front end, rear traction bars, rear sway bar,
power steering, and power brakes w/front discs.
This is the classic Chevy that really has all the best upgrades for
a true driver's classic. So if you want to look distinctive without
giving up the comfort, call today!
