This 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 North American Specification (NAS)
hardtop convertible represents the first year of just three years
that Land Rover imported the Defender 90 into North America with a
limited production run each year. This is vehicle #1608 for the
model year 1994 as indicated on the numbered plate mounted on the
rear of the truck. A complete restoration was finished in 2020 on
this Arizona-based Defender and it has 200 test miles since.
Virtually everything has been replaced or refinished, including new
paint and new interior. Sound and heat proofing by Second Skin was
also installed during the restoration along with new seals and
gaskets at all doors and the windshield as well. This Defender is
powered by its original fuel-injected 3.9-liter 4-cylinder gas
engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. It comes equipped
with with factory air conditioning, power steering, power brakes
and a full safari roof rack and ladder. This Land Rover rides on
factory Tornado wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
