THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST OVERALL BUILDS WE’VE HAD IN THE MS CLASSIC CARS COLLECTION. FROM OUR RESEARCH AND EXPERIENCE WE ESTIMATE IT WOULD COST $200,000 TO DUPLICATE THIS BUILD.

PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION TO BETTER UNDERSTAND.This spectacular 1963 Chevrolet Bel Air 409/575HP Dual Quad Custom was built to be the ultimate nostalgic-restomod. It was the product of a rotisserie nut and bolt restoration with many high end components throughout. This car is in high show quality condition from top to bottom. The body is laser straight with excellent panel gap lines. The body was finished in a beautiful black paint job that is ocean deep. It has all new laminated safety glass and exterior trim throughout. The car has a killer stance on 15” Black Steel wheels with Moroso 7.60-15 tires on front and Mickey Thompson 10.00-15 tires on the rear. The extremely beautiful red interior has many discreet options such as an Autometer shift light, Ididit tilt steering column, Vintage Air conditioning and heating with electric levers, Retro-Sound stereo system with modern features and Hurst shifter with line lock. The highly detailed engine compartment was finished in gloss black and the hood hinges along with the hood assembly was ceramic coated. It’s equipped with new wiring, MSD ignition system, Wilwood master brake cylinder, braided hoses, stainless lines and Optima Red Top battery. It’s powered by a Jack Gibb built 409 Dual Quad V8 that was stroked to a 480 V8 with an estimated 575 HP. The engine has been outfitted with many custom parts such as a polished Edelbrock intake with K&N breather, polished Edelbrock dual 800cfm carburetors, Billet Specialties Tru-Trac serpentine system, Chevrolet orange milled valve covers, polished milled air cleaner and aluminum oil pan. The engine is cooled by a Be Cool polished aluminum radiator with dual Spal polished fans and polished aluminum overfill canisters. The engine breathes through custom ceramic coated fender well headers, 3” ceramic coated exhaust, Borla mufflers and electric cut outs. The engine is coupled to an “Auto Gear” built M22 4-speed transmission with blow shield. It’s equipped with a Mark Williams SFI aluminum driveshaft. The power is transferred to the pavement through the custom built 12-bolt Tru-Trac POSI rear end with Mark Williams axles, T/A cover and 4.10 gears. The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout with many upgrades such as a modified painted X-frame, stainless fuel, stainless lines, GM 605 quick ratio power steering box, Global west front suspension system with AFCO double adjustable shocks and Moroso drag springs, triangulated 4-link rear suspension with adjustable controls and AFCO double adjustable shocks, Baer front disc brakes with red calipers with slotted rotors and upgraded rear drum brakes.

The exterior of this car is absolutely stunning to say the least. This body style is very unique especially when compared to the commonly seen Tri-Five models. The body of this car is laser straight with excellent panel gaps throughout. The hood, doors and trunk close so nicely. The car was refinished in its original color of black which dresses it well. The paint is show quality throughout and was recently detailed by MS CLASSIC CARS to a brilliant shine. All of the glass was replaced during the restoration with new laminated safety glass which is crystal clear. Everything on the exterior is was restored or replaced such as the glass trim, window vents, wipers, hood trim, hood emblem, front grille, dual H4 headlights, front bumper, front lower ribbed panel, front fender emblems, dual mirrors, door handles, side moldings, rear quarter emblems, trunk emblem, trunk trim, taillights, rear bumper and rear lower ribbed panel. The car has a killer stance on 15” black steel wheels that fit the nostalgic appearance. The front wheels have the Baer brake billet hub in the center and the rear wheels have a yellow hub that reads Mark Williams Hi-Torque axles. The wheels are wrapped with Moroso Drag Special 7.60 – 15 tires on the front and Mickey Thompson Radial Dragster 10.00-15 tires on the rear. This car is one mean looking street machine!

The interior of this car is also absolutely stunning to say the least. It’s been completely restored to a very high level of quality. It’s very spacious and comfortable especially with the front bench seat. During the restoration the original Aqua color was changed to red which complements the black exterior perfectly. The seat pattern also adds the touch of 60’s design. Everything in the interior was restored or replaced such as the red headliner, dome light, coat hooks, red sun visors, chrome rear view mirror, red painted dash, crystal clear gauges including a built in RPM gauge, dash hardware, steering wheel, pedals, door striker, door sills, front red door panels with arm rests, door handles, window cranks, vent cranks, rear red door panels with arm rests, ash trays, window cranks, red bench seats with custom upholstery, red carpeting and rear red package tray. The interior has some great upgrades that were discreetly added such as under mounted Auto Gage gauges, Autometer shift light with MSD RPM activated switch, red Ididit tilt steering column, Vintage Air conditioning and heating system with electric levers, Hurst chrome shifter with white shift knob and line lock, Retro-Sound Motor 3 stereo system with modern features, kicker panel speakers and rear tray speaker. It even has the electric exhaust cut out switch hidden on dash. Everything in this interior is in working order such as the dome lights, under dash lights, headlights, turn signals, horn, gauges, air conditioning, heating system and sound system. 

The highly detailed gloss black engine compartment is like a jewelry case with its gorgeous accessories. The backside of the hood, firewall, inner fenders and radiator support was painted high gloss black. The hood hinges and hood latch assembly was ceramic coated for durability and appearance. The engine bay has many upgrades such as the new concealed wiring, MSD ignition system, Wilwood master brake cylinder, braided hoses, stainless lines and Optima Red Top battery. The car is powered by a Jack Gibb built 409 Dual Quad V8that was stroked to a 480 V8 with an estimated 575HP. Jack Gibb is the authority with 409 V8 engine rebuilding. The engine has a 422 casting number and 690 cylinder head casting number. Some of the engine internal upgrades include Comp Cams solid roller custom grind cam with .650 lift, Isky valve springs, roller rockers with guide plates, Ross pistons and 6.135 connecting rods. The engine has been outfitted with many custom parts such as a polished Edelbrock intake with K&N breather, polished Edelbrock dual 800cfm carburetors, Billet Specialties Tru-Trac serpentine system, Chevrolet orange milled valve covers, polished milled air cleaner and aluminum oil pan. The engine is cooled by a Be Cool polished aluminum radiator with dual Spal polished fans and polished aluminum overfill canisters. The engine breathes through custom ceramic coated fender well headers, 3” ceramic coated exhaust, Borla mufflers and electric cut outs. The engine is coupled to an “Auto Gear” built M22 4-speed transmission with blow shield. It’s equipped with a Mark Williams SFI aluminum driveshaft.
