This '87 short-bed fleetside, conventional cab Chevy 1500 has that distinctive squared-off appearance that is just the right look for a pickup. The Custom Deluxe 4X4 was the beneficiary of a performance restoration in 2016. The straight, totally rust-free body was beautifully refinished in 2-stage Chevrolet Bright Red. Exterior accents include extensive chrome/stainless trim, full bedliner and chrome roll-bar w/LED spotlights. The refreshed red cloth/vinyl interior is in very good condition and the factory dash contains a full compliment of gauges. Comfort features include: cold air, tinted windows, tilt wheel and Pioneer AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth stereo system. The clean engine compartment houses a 350ci/4V that was totally rebuilt. It is fitted with an aluminum intake, mild cam and tube headers. The small-block is backed by a four-speed manual transmission with 'creeper' first-gear and 2H/4H/4L transfer case. Front locking hubs are manual and the chassis is equipped with power steering and power disc/drum brakes. The six-leaf front/rear suspension is fitted with a lift-kit that gives this 1500 an ominous stance. Six-bolt Weld Racing alloy wheels mount chunky 35X Cooper STT Pro all-season off-road tires.
